Hidden in the outer Himalayan range of the Kumaoni mountains is an emerald-colored jewel called Khurpatal Lake in the Khurpatal town. From Bus stand: Khurpatal is only 11 km from the nearest bus stand, Tallital Bus Stand. You can hire an auto-rickshaw or a taxi cab to reach Khurpatal from there.
From Railway station: Khurpatal is 35 km away from the nearest railway station, Kathgodam Railway Station. Local taxi cabs are available from the station there to reach Khurpatal.
